The responsibility lies with Privium and that’s the point I will make to QBCC and others. This is defective products and defective workmanship - another point I will be making. Third year I’m in this house and still trying to fix this sub standard work!
We searched for MANY builders and were almost ready to call it quits and take a break before going to our last house to see which was Privium where we were met with Anu. This is not our first rodeo and have build 2 houses to live in before so we know what to expect and Privium via Anu were outstanding. He was patient, explained everything and nothing was too hard for him (some of our requests were above and b... We have Anu as our sales consultant and he has been so helpful and always gets back to us straight away. We are still waiting for our block to title but we are hoping to get our building approval not long after to get our slab down. Our colour selection is booked and our experience so far has been great.

Then ELEVEN months later when absolutely NO construction had begun, we hounded them for answers only to have them say that now they can’t complete the build because they have run out of money. Well, idiots, if you had of built the damn house when you should have, the prices of trades and materials wouldn’t have been so high, would they?! I am unexperienced first-time buyer, signed up for land&build contract back in 2019, then Covid hit, then it was one delay after another... Now the build has finally started earlier this year, but there are stories on the internet that this builder is going bust.

The dodgy and defective brickwork was quickly rendered when i clearly informed ss not to render until i get a private building inspector. We have been approved for the 'no deposit' scheme to build our first home in Victoria. Anu, who was our first point of contact, did provide a great support by facilitating the contract and liaising with the land vendor. He is very friendly and always keen to help.
Signed our contract last year and our building permit was approved 5 months ago with no progress in sight. Enquiries go answered but then they do feign some interest by sometimes responding to negative feedback on social media.And their prices are comparable to other builders, so there is definitely no great deal here.
